After resting for almost a year, most of the Grab Car drivers are back on the road to give us commuters a safe, fast and efficient car ride going to and from our destination.
As GRAB Car comes back to full swing this month, customers are assured that they are following stringent measures in order to adhere to the safety protocols mandated by the IATF (Inter-Agency Task Force) for Covid-19.

MY GRAB CAR EXPERIENCE
It’s been a while since my last GRAB Car ride so I kinda miss the feel of how it is to book a ride, being picked up and dropped off safely by a driver to my destination. It’s like having an on call chauffeur, right?
On a sunny day, I decided to go to the mall with my mom so I booked a ride with GRAB. Luckily, it didn’t take long for our Grab Car to arrive.
Upon boarding the driver immediately greeted me courteously and cheerfully. I then noticed the safety barrier between the driver’s seat and the back seat. Manong driver’s barrier was sturdy and nice to look at that as a rider, I felt safe.
The driver wore a face mask and we as passengers wore face masks too and face shields.
It’s a must as we try to protect not only ourselves but other people as well.
SAFE ON THE ROAD
It usually takes some time from our place going to the mall on a weekday. During stops, I casually talked to our Grab Car driver and asked him things like the safety precautions they observe, time he hits the road and so on. In fairness, he was polite and didn’t show any disinterest in me asking him about these things. Before we knew it, we already arrived at our destination. I thanked Manong driver (name withheld) for the safe and fast ride made more pleasant by his friendly disposition.
And oh, if you encounter drivers like them, of course they deserve a tip!
