HELLO AGAIN, CARMEN!
This isn’t my first time to visit Carmen’s Kitchen.
My first was last July, after their soft opening with my long time bff. I instantly loved their food and cozy ambiance. Because Carmen’s Kitchen serves really delicious meals, I knew my mom would love it there too. So I brought her there for lunch one day.
And I was right, she really liked the food.
Of course, I didn’t miss dining at Carmen’s Kitchen with my blogger friends who were first timers in CK.
Carmen’s Kitchen is owned and operated by the Manalotos, who are also known in the city and province of Negros for home cooked meals and savory chorizos.
CARMEN’S KITCHEN SWEET BEGINNINGS
According to Ms. Mikay Manaloto, one of the Manaloto siblings, her passion for cooking was highly influenced by her mom thus the name Carmen’s Kitchen. Her brother, Mark would always give her a pat on the shoulders for encouragement. Both continue to inspire her to give their family business a good jump start.
Perhaps that is why Carmen’s Kitchen is now competing with those that are already established in the local restaurant industry.
Carmen’s Kitchen serves scrumptious dishes and generous food portions. In fact, what I like most about this resto is that they don’t scrimp on the ingredients despite the price inflation in the market. So, customers still get delicious food taste and value for money.
HOUSE SPECIALTIES
Since it’s the highlight of Masskara festival this week, I’m sure people are looking for a place to eat and somewhere cozy cozy to chill and bond with friends. Carmen’s Kitchen has all the stuff you want!
Their best sellers include:
- Dynamite Shrimp
- Crispy Chicken Burger
- Hot Prawn Salad

OPEN FOR FUNCTIONS AND GATHERINGS
Carmen’s Kitchen also opened their second floor that can accommodate up to 80 persons for functions like birthdays, baptismal receptions, meetings, reunions and family gatherings.
Another good news is that just this October 3, they opened Carmen’s Cafe in Go Hotels Bacolod, so hotel clients and people nearby can come and get a taste of the Manaloto’s quality food collection.
Because of their remarkable yummy food and good service , my craving for Carmen’s Kitchen specialties isn’t over yet. Their callos is said to be one of the best in town nowadays which I/m still yet to try on my next visit, I’m excited!
Aside from their house specialties, they also serve pasta, pizza, appetizers, lunch and dinner favorites and desserts. Drinks, juices and liquor (not for minors) are also in the menu.
