How to book a Grab Car and transact a  cashless ride?

ACTIVATE  YOUR GRABPAY WALLET

1. ) On your mobile phone (you need a wifi connection, of course!), download GRAB App and search for the GRABCAR icon.
2. ) For those who haven’t activated their GRABPay Wallet, click the GRABCAR icon, click GRABPay and set up your GRAB Pay Wallet or you may  click this link for further instructions grab.com/ph/pay/guide/get-started

Once activated, you can book a ride every time you open your Grab app.

BOOK A RIDE

And there’s no long waiting time when you book a ride using the GRABCar app!  It’s also safe and  convenient especially as we are all so keen on cleanliness.

CASHLESS RIDE means you can ride without the hassle of handing your money over to the driver and vice versa. That way, the chances of transmitting viruses or bacteria is lessened.

Here’s how to book a ride on your mobile phone once your GRABPAY Wallet has been activated:

• On your mobile phone, open your GRAB App and click the Grab car icon
• Enter your current location and write your destination
• You can add pick-up notes too for the driver, like instructions or details about the ride
• Click GRAB Pay option below as your payment method
• GrabCar will find you a driver and it will appear on your screen once they have found one.
• Your driver will inform you if he/she is on the way.

Because you have already successfully paid for your ride via GRAB Pay, there is no need to hand out cash to the driver.

 

 

GIVING A CASHLESS TIP?

You have arrived safely and had a pleasant ride in a GrabCar and wanna give your driver a tip? No worries it’s still cashless!

HOW?

Well, at the end of the ride, check the Grab App again.

Click the highlighted Rate Your Last Ride and there you can find how you can rate your driver by giving them  (1 to 5) stars. Then you can give your tip and the suggested amount after you have rated them.
