Nail.a.Holics Salon and Spa

A Holiday Treat for Nails & Toes

I really felt the holiday rush at the mall when my Mom and I visited Nail.aHolics Salon and Spa a few days ago.

As we celebrate Christmas and prepare for the New Year, pampering one’s self is a sure way to feel good in anticipation of the busy days ahead lined up with gatherings, parties and events. Actually, this is the second time that I am visiting the place and I asked my mom to come with me so that she too can experience Nail.a.Holics’ manicure and pedicure treat.

By The Sea Mood Design

The interior and the seaside wall design of Nail.a.Holics is attractive and refreshing to the eyes. During my previous visit, I already noticed the sweet combination of pastel colors that sets a relaxing mood and adds appeal to the customers and even to those who work there. The pastel colors are cool and de-stressing, it’s like you’re doing the mani-pedi sesh by the sea. If you are a couple or you have a companion and want privacy while enjoying the services, they have a curtained and cushioned seat for two with comfy pillows. Honestly, the price is a bit high for the Bacolod market but I’m surprised how they’ve maintained their regular customers and their walk –ins who want to try their services. This could be reflective of the pampering they give to the clients and the quality of the products that they use.

Nail.a Holics Services

In my recent visit, I had a manicure and pedicure pampering sesh done by Tine. She first soaked my feet in warm water and after a while started cleaning my nails. Unlike my first visit, my feet were treated to a foot spa before the pedicure.  Tine has been working for Nail.a.Holics for four months and she said that she and the girls are first trained at the salon’s training house in Brgy. Sum-ag, Bacolod before they can handle customers.

After the cleaning, I grabbed the basket where bottles of nail polish were lined up. I was looking for tan or white colored polish but both weren’t available so I just picked the nude hue instead.  Unfortunately, at that time they didn’t have enough selection of regular nail polish colors but they had gel nail polish instead.  Although priced a bit higher, it lasts longer than the regular one. Nail.a.Holics uses imported polish, so you can be assured it won’t chip off easily. I just hope they will have more color variation when I visit next time.

Argan oil is also available.  This oil is known to be very essential for our hair and skin. Argan oil boxes are displayed in the counter so you may inquire if you want to try it. They also have polishes that aren’t harmful for children.  In fact my fellow blogger/hands-on momma, Sigrid Lo (www.sigridsays.com) allowed her children to use nail polish.

Aside from hand care (manicure), foot care (pedicure), whitening and detoxifying foot spa, Nail.aHolics also offers spa and salon services such as waxing, threading and nail extension.

It’s located at the  3rd Level, North Wing  of SM City Bacolod. For more information, visit any Nail.a.Holics branch near you or you may visit their FB page to know more about their services.
